Bring the essence of the desert into your home with our hand poured Creosote candle. This candle is unique in that the soy blend wax is infused with the actual plant material. Because of this, the scent is light, but authentic.
Abundant in our Southwestern Sonoran desert, Creosote (Larrea Tridentata), also known as Chaparral, is the scent of the desert. We desert dwellers especially love the aroma of Creosote in the air when our annual monsoon rains begin.

Wonderful Creosite candle. Wrapped carefully with love and a tiny surprise added.
Will buy more and and hopefully visit this store
Having spent a good portion of my life in Arizona there is NOTHING like the smell of a good rain in the desert. Now that I live in North Carolina, I miss it. I found this candle when I visited the store in Bisbee this summer and I was so excited to bring that wonderful smell back home with me!
Turns out you CAN bottle up and sell that smell, and I am here for it! Buy 5, heck, buy a hundred and give them out to your friends and family. Or just put them all over the house, but don't light them all at once. #justsaying
Hello, I just wanted to write my review of this Creosote candle and say that I will never light this candle because I want to keep it always, because it smells like home. I live in Tennessee now, being born and raised in the desert of both CA and AZ, and I miss the desert everyday. This candle smells like the creosote bush that triggers the terpenes before and after a desert rainstorm. Beautiful how this candle was so craftily made. Thank you for a making this, a piece of home. Highly recommend.
It’s a nice candle, doesn’t smoke, burns evenly but a bit disappointed in the smell. I couldn’t smell any of the creosote I was expecting. I know they said it was subtle but to my smeller, it was too subtle.
