Bring the essence of the desert into your home with our hand poured Creosote candle. This candle is unique in that the soy blend wax is infused with the actual plant material. Because of this, the scent is light, but authentic.
Abundant in our Southwestern Sonoran desert, Creosote (Larrea Tridentata), also known as Chaparral, is the scent of the desert. We desert dwellers especially love the aroma of Creosote in the air when our annual monsoon rains begin.

Got one for me and one for a friend, lovely smell and a nice burn, led to a nice night in. ;3c
This has quickly become a staple scent for our household. Earthy and not too overpowering. Love it.
I love the smell of rain almost anywhere I’ve been. I feel that the smell of rain in the Midwest after you’ve mowed your lawn. That was u til I moved to Arizona many years ago. I don’t know what it is about a desert rain but that creosote smell is amazing. This candle does just as good (if not better) as Mother Nature. I haven’t even had to light it yet. It just being in my office with the lid off is enough to make me happy.
I’ve been searching for a creosote candle for YEARS because it’s my favorite smell in the WORLD. I went to school out of state and brought some dried creosote with me so I could always smell home. I finally found Bisbee Soap and Sundry, ordered the creosote candle and after one burn it smelled EXACTLY like the real thing! Then it got stormy the next day and my boyfriend from out of town said “it smells like the candle out here”. I think that says enough!! I wasn’t worried about the ‘throw’ of the candle. I just wanted to be able to smell it when I walked by. It’s perfect for what I wanted- the smell- and I’ll be ordering more asap!!
I discovered, after I had bought three of these, that I already had two candles which I bought at the actual store in Bisbee. I never used them much, probably for the same reason I am giving this a '3'. My experience of creosote is a much more intense aroma right after a rain. This candle, to my nose anyway, smells somewhat like creosote, but not intensely so.
