Bring the essence of the desert into your home with our hand poured Creosote candle. This candle is unique in that the soy blend wax is infused with the actual plant material. Because of this, the scent is light, but authentic.
Abundant in our Southwestern Sonoran desert, Creosote (Larrea Tridentata), also known as Chaparral, is the scent of the desert. We desert dwellers especially love the aroma of Creosote in the air when our annual monsoon rains begin.

Warning: Failure to follow instructions can result in burn, fire, injury and/or property damage. Keep wick trimmed to 1/8 - 1/4 inch. Discontinue use when 1/2 inch of wax remains. Avoid drafts. Keep away from children, pets and flammable objects. Burn on fireproof holder and for no more than 3 hours at a time. NEVER leave a burning candle unattended.

If you've lived in AZ for any amount of time, you know there is a scent in the air after it rains. That slightly smoky yet fresh smell of just clean rain. I know it sounds weird if you've never experienced it but trust me. If you're looking for a specific AZ smell, this is it. I'm going to buy more and send to family that have moved out of state for a little touch of home.
So sad , maybe i got a dud. I was so excited for it. I love creosote. Package was adorable and it came with a cute lil toy suprise inside.. but candle has no smell .

Nothing smells cleaner and fresher than the Arizona desert after a rain. It's the Creosote bush that yields that unique scent. Growing up in Arizona I always said that if someone could bottle that scent, I'd buy it! I found that scent in this Creosote candle.
Can I get the scent in a linen spray? btw, I loved the tiny yellow ducky that came in the package. It made me smile!
