Creosote Salve - 2 fl. oz
Creosote Salve - 2 fl. oz
We've captured the desert Creosote plant, or Chaparral (Larrea tridentata, Zygophyllaceae), and crafted a salve around it. In plant form Creosote smells like desert rain, fresh and green. This salve smells green and earthy, if you've spent any time in the Southern Arizona desert, it will smell very familiar.
Our creosote salve is green, creamy, and highly nourishing. Perfect for dry, scaly skin, rough patches or itchy spots.

I am a nurse that washes my hands a lot. I needed something for my dry cuticles. It has helped my nails and hands. Also I love the smell. Reminds my of monsoons in Bisbee!
use it for cuticles, smells amazing , not heavy ,and not greasy like most salves usually are. rubs right in . Also there is quite a bit in the tin, so its gonna last a while
A unique dessert-y smell, non greasy.
As someone who lives in a cold climate, this salve is amazing on those winter hands. Just use a tiny bit to help super dried, cracked hands that need moisture. I am such a fan of this product that I have given it as a gift to very happy recipients. I appreciate how it treats dry skin without being oily or greasy.
When we bought our first little house we had a brick patio put in our backyard. Then we tackled the overhead roof project ourselves. This required painting layers of creosote on the posts on the parts that would be buried in the ground. It was a nasty, messy job and I did not care for the smell. So, when I saw different products in your shop boasting a creosote fragrance I was never tempted to try any of them. But then I read your description about how wonderful it was bc it was the smell of the dessert after a good rain I suddenly became very interested in trying some of your creosote products. I can't say I actually know what the dessert smells like after a drenching rain, I can say the fragrance is quite wonderful~subtle, fresh, clean, earthy. I decided to try this salve as I have been having problems with the tops of my hands since during the pandemic I washed my hands constantly and still wash them quite often. As a result the tops of my hands are rough feeling with scaly flaky skin. I've tried many hand lotions, even tried organic sesame oil (which is great on the rest of my body) but nothing really helped my hands until I tried this wonderful salve. This stuff really works and it will be a constant in my skincare routine in the future.
