“It really does smell like dirt!” says everyone who picks it up. Some associate this scent with potatoes, some with corn fields, others with childhood mud-pies made on scorching Summer afternoons in the backyard. Whatever association you have with the scent of dirt, this will sweep you away in memory.
Funny story: When things got weird circa 2020 (looking at you Covid), we actually discontinued our dirt soap along with several others. It was a tough decision, but all things considered, we had to let it go. Now that things have stabilized (right?) dirt is back, and here to stay. We promise.

Weighing in at 6.5 oz. this bar of soap will last, on average, from 4-6 weeks with daily use when stored properly. To get the most out of your soap, we recommend storing it in a well drained soap dish between uses.

This is my son’s favorite soap. He hunts and uses this soap to mask his scent and works well.
I cannot tell you how much I love this soap! I cannot even explain it! I am a scented soap lover and often buy local soaps in our travels, but never have I swooned over a soap as I do with Dirt! I am absolutely in love with it's earthy, grounded, sitting in a rock canyon in Arizona scent!
So I'm ordering more. Until we meet again, keep the Dirt coming!

I first became enamored with dirt-scented things when I tried Demeter's dirt perfume. Unfortunately, I am allergic to many fragrances in Demeter's inventory (and I was not able to single out a culprit from their very secretive ingredient list), so I was unable to continue enjoying the scent. Thankfully, I stumbled upon Bisbee S&S's dirt soap while passing through Tucson last year. Not only does it smell more realistic (and clean!) than the Demeter version I'd been accustomed to, but it also doesn't trigger an allergic reaction! Now I can enjoy an even better version of the scent I love. Hopefully they continue experimenting and come up with a dirt perfume or lotion of their own. I wish Bisbee S&S further success, so maybe one day I can buy their lovely wares from a local store here in NYC, instead of having it shipped all the way from the West.
